    The Renewal Series is a great addition to the Post Apocalyptic Genre. This series tells of the story of a young man in post breakdown America. He is a reclamation engineer who comes across a hidden town during his first solo assignment. The author does an amazing job of telling two stories, first the ongoing story of the young engineer and the society and problems he has to deal with in the new America. The second story is a first hand account of the breakdown of American society from one of the survivors and creators of the hidden town. This series does something that many post apocalyptic novels does not do there is no message about how everyone should be a hardcore survivalist building up huge stores of beans, band aids, and bullets. This is a great series with amazing characters and their struggles in the changed world.

    Another great addition . Frankly, this is perhaps the most enjoyable and well written series in this genre. Obvious care taken by the author to ensure continued quality reads. GREAT
